Children's Day Celebrate at Kharghar campus
Children’s’ Day was celebrated
with fun and frolic at Radcliffe School, Kharghar. The day started with a
prayer followed by paying tribute to Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru by garlanding and
lighting up the holy lamp by Regional Head and Principal Mrs. Swati Mukherjee.
Teachers organised a cultural program where they performed dance and drama for
the children. Dressed up in a variety of traditional attire from various states
of India, they walked on the ramp and also presented folk dances of their
respective states. Children enjoyed to the full and accompanied their teachers
in dancing. Also, the secondary teachers staged an act depicting the impact of
virtual world which is diminishing the social, emotional and moral
acumen of the new generation. A strong message was spread among the
children about importance of human care, creativity and intelligence and not to
be a slave of virtual world. Children also enjoyed the free style dance
performance of their favourite dance teachers. Chocolates were distributed to
all at the end.
