The term “child labour” is often defined as work that deprives children of their childhood, their potential and their dignity, and that is harmful to their physical and mental development. This social issue is running in the society for many years from the ancient times which has affected the development to a great extent.
Every year on June 12 the world Day against Child Labour is observed to raise awareness of the plight of child labourers world-wide.
“Childhood is an enchanting vista, An endless fun, A joyful classroom, An Experience, An era of imagination”

At Radcliffe, Kharghar a special assembly was organised by grade IV students to educate children about evils of child labour.
A captivating skit was performed depicting how society can contribute towards the upliftment of needy children. Assembly was ended with a song ‘Mujhe yuhi karke khwabo se juda’ melodiously sung by children.
